UTS Systems is currently seeking candidates for the following positions (locations).
Accounting - General Ledger Manager (Fairfield, Virginia)
The General Ledger Manager will supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities including establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. Their primary function will be managing and maintaining the integrity of the organization’s general ledger. This person will work closely with the Corporate Controller to execute the accounting function of the organization.
• Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or GL Accounting Supervisor.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, especially MS Excel, accounting software (ERP) and databases.
• Proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”), standards, laws, and regulations.
• 10+ years of accounting or general ledger management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of general ledger experience.
Accounting - General Ledger Accountant (Fairfield, Virginia)
The General Ledger Accountant will track and evaluate day-to-day activities including establishing financial status by collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. Their primary function will be the management of the organization’s general ledger. This person will work closely with the Corporate Controller to execute the accounting function of the organization.
• Work Experience as a GL Accountant
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, especially MS Excel, accounting software (ERP) and databases.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principes (“GAAP”), standards, laws, and regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of general ledger experience.
Accounting – Cost Accounting Manager (Fairfield, Virginia)
The Cost Accounting Manager will develop and reconcile inventory and cost standards including production and overhead costs. The ideal candidate will track and evaluate day-to-day activities including establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. While working closely with the operations and supply chain team, the candidate will develop and reconcile inventory and cost standards, including production and overhead costs.
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accounting Manager, or Accounting Manager.
• Expert computer skills on the MS Office platform specifically MS Excel and advanced knowledge of enterprise accounting software (ERP) and databases.
• Proven knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• 5+ years of cost accounting or 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, ERP inventory management or inventory valuation highly desired.

• Cost accounting or 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, ERP inventory management or inventory valuation.
Information Technology – Information Technology Manager (Fairfield, Virginia)
The Information Technology Manager will oversee and manage the monitoring, implementation and compliance of systems, network infrastructures, and information management of the Company. The manager will work closely with each department to ensure adequate IT support from desktops to networks to software management / licensing. The manager will also work closely with accounting to ensure proper an annual budget and capital expenditure plan related to IT equipment and software purchases.
• Technical management and understanding
• Analyzing information and problem-solving skills
• Data and information management
• Strategic IT planning
• Proficient in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer or information technology related field (desired)
• Five or more years of IT work experience
• Optional product or system certification
